The “Analyze and prioritize ideas” is an area of the platform where users with special access can rank the best ideas based on the completion of classification criteria. Each criterion filled in the idea has an associated score, which, when added to the scores of other criteria, makes up the “score” of the idea.
In this article, you will see the following topics:
Creating a New Analysis
By clicking on the Bars Menu 👉 Analyze and Prioritize Ideas, you will be directed to the List of Idea Analysis and Prioritization page, where you can view analyses that have already been performed or create new ones.
To create a new analysis, simply click on the “+” icon located in the upper right corner. After this, the first step is to select the ideas you want to analyze by applying various filters for this purpose: status, campaign, theme, start and end date, and so on.
After applying the filters and adding the ideas, you can also name your analysis and choose to make it public so it can be viewed by other users.
If you want to analyze ideas from a new filter, just click on “Clear".
Weighting Filters
The Weighting Filters are the classification criteria parameterized in the platform and used by the approvers when evaluating ideas. Through them, you can assign different weights to the criteria that are most relevant to your analysis, thereby selecting the best ideas for your scenario, based on the ranking performed by the platform.
Classified Ideas
Once classified and with the weighting filters duly applied, the ideas will appear in descending order of points.
The Weighted Points column displays the sum of points considering the weight given to each weighting filter, while the Points column shows the total score obtained by the idea during its evaluation process.
Finally, to add the ideas to your selection list, simply click the “checkbox” located in the Prioritize column and click on Save Selection.
