The submission of an idea to the implementation phase only happens at the time of its evaluation. For this, the stage responsible must access the Bars Menu 👉 My Pendencies.
By accessing this menu, all ideas pending some action from your user will be marked under the My Pendencies option. By using the available filters, it is possible to view only those that are in the stages of the approval flow. With this, simply click on this option to start your evaluation process.
In the Actions column on the page, you can:
- Open the idea modal, where it is possible to view the submitted idea data (form fields, authors, comments, etc.);
- Access the idea page to observe all the information about the idea;
- Evaluate, approve, or reject the idea.
On this page, we can approve ideas through:
- Idea page
- Idea modal
Approval on the idea page
By clicking on the icon , you will be taken to the evaluation screen of the stage for which you are responsible, and you must conduct your analysis regarding the approval or rejection of the idea.
If you wish to approve it, simply click the Approve button located at the bottom of the page. After clicking it, the following modal will be displayed:
- In the Idea Approval pop-up, it will be necessary to fill in the Stage Analysis and Justification for Direct Approval fields (in case an idea is being approved at an intermediate stage of the flow).
The Send for Implementation flag is unchecked by default, so it must be checked to notify the person responsible for implementing the idea. - The "Plan/Control Financial Return" field should only be filled in if the idea has the potential to bring financial gains to the company.
- The "Manage via Initiatives" field is, by default, enabled. Therefore, if the Central de Iniciativas module is active in your product package, you will be able to submit the idea as a project to a portfolio or as a task to a project within the Central de Iniciativas.
It is possible to assign more than one person responsible for the implementation. This can be done in several ways:
- (RECOMMENDED) In the implementation stage, you can add one or more groups of employees as responsible for implementing that idea by filling in the "RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTATION" field.
- When submitting the idea for implementation, add a group as the responsible party;
3. When submitting the idea for implementation, simply add a semicolon (;) separating the users’ names.
Once these fields are filled in, just click the Approve button. At this moment, the idea status will change to In Implementation, and the user defined as responsible for implementation will receive a notification email informing them that a new idea has been assigned for implementation.
Approval in the idea modal
Another option is to approve the idea through the idea modal. To do this, still on the My Pendencies page, you must click the button , and the modal will open:
Click the three-dot menu located in the upper right corner of the modal. It will give access to the available options:
If you wish to approve it, simply click the Approve button located at the bottom of the page. After clicking it, the following modal will be displayed:
