Thinking about providing facilitated management of ideas within a Kanban view, the Idea Funnel was created to improve the experience of those who evaluate and manage the ideas of the innovation program, increasing the possibilities for actions on them in a practical and quick manner within a specific campaign. In this article, you will see:
How to access a funnel
To access the funnel of a campaign, the user must first access its description page. To do this, click the VIEW DETAILS button located just below the campaign card:
On the campaign description page, the user can access the funnel:
The BACK TO CAMPAIGNS button redirects the user to the page with all campaigns:
The CAMPAIGN STAGES button gives access to the Idea Funnel. After clicking this button, you will be directed to the page where you can get an overview of all ideas of that campaign and their respective stages. Here, everyone who has permission to view the campaign will be able to see all ideas:
Filters and view modes
Through the filters available in the top bar of the funnel, it is possible to perform segmentation and modify the view of the Idea Funnel:
In the first dropdown, we can select the campaign whose flow stages we want to view:
Next, we can select in which flow setup of this campaign we want to view ideas:
If a flow does not have any ideas, it will not be visible in this selection list; only flows with at least one idea will be listed. If there is only one flow created, it will be selected by default.
The SEARCH BY field is intended to select the search by ID, title, and description. It is possible to choose only one or all together, and then perform the search in the field. By default, it comes with all three options selected.
It is also possible to apply filters within the idea visualization inside the funnel, using the FILTER button located next to the search field. When clicking it, the fields that can be used to add idea selection criteria are expanded.
Next to it, we can apply the reduced view function, which allows the idea cards to contain more or less information.
Within the Kanban, it is possible to view the stages in elaboration, canceled, under approval, approved, under implementation, implemented, implementation validation, and rejected. Next to the name, the number of ideas within the stage is displayed.
Idea card
On the idea cards, you can view some information, such as:
Avatar with the author's photo, idea number and name, person responsible for approval and department, whether there is a pending opinion or adjustment on the idea, and whether something has been attached to it.
You can open the Idea Modal by clicking on its name:
In the three-dot menu, we have the following options:
Here the user can perform actions quickly, as when clicking on any of the options, a pop-up is displayed with the commands to complete it. For example: Approve or Send to the next stage, Request Adjustment or Feedback, Send to Implementation. It is also important to mention that some options will depend on the stage in which the idea is currently located.
