If you're managing an idea program and excited to explore this new feature to boost your results, this article is for you! I’ll walk you through each step of the setup process so you can get the most out of this innovation. In this guide, you'll find:
How to Enable Generative AI
Just like the other AI features available in the platform, Generative AI for idea submissions must be enabled by a Superuser or a System Settings Administrator through the General Settings. Here’s how:
Go to:
Gear Menu > General Settings > Central de Ideias tab
Look for the ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE section and check the following box:
Below that, you'll find two options:
-
All Campaigns – This enables Generative AI across all your campaigns.
-
Select – Allows you to choose specific campaigns where you'd like to enable this feature.
If you choose the second option, a new field will appear where you can select the desired campaigns, as shown in the example above.
| Note: If there are active campaigns when Generative AI is enabled, a pop-up message will inform you once you save the General Settings. |
Once activated, any time a user accesses the campaign editing page, a new required field will appear in the basic information section. The same applies to additional fields, where the Scope field will now also be required.
Campaign Setup
Now let’s go over the key points and changes when configuring campaigns with this feature.
Once Generative AI is enabled, a new Campaign Scope field becomes visible and required in the basic information section. This field must contain at least 200 characters for the campaign to be published.
|
💡 TIP: Filling out this field is crucial for ensuring that the AI works in alignment with your campaign’s goals and your company’s strategic metrics. Think of it like writing a "prompt," similar to what you’d use in ChatGPT. The idea is to include important criteria and rules for evaluating ideas through AI—helping the technology determine which campaign each submitted idea best fits. When filling out this field, consider the following questions to make sure participants have all the context they need to submit valuable, goal-aligned ideas:
|
In addition to the new field in the basic information section, Scope fields in Additional Fields will also become required. These need a minimum of 80 characters.
| Note: For existing campaigns, previously created additional fields without a defined Scope will only become required once the field edit page is accessed. Completing this field is essential for helping the AI assess form inputs, reorganize ideas, and suggest the most aligned technologies. 😉 |
