The My Tasks page is used by users to facilitate the management of their pending tasks within the Initiative Center. In this article, you will find out how to access the screen, which filters and actions are available, and best practices for tracking and completing tasks efficiently.
My Tasks
The My Tasks screen can be accessed by clicking on the third icon next to the search bar. This view brings together all the tasks for which the logged-in user is assigned as responsible, gathering pending items from different portfolios and projects in a single location for centralized monitoring.
Top bar
Just below the search bar, the page displays the name (on the left) and filters (on the right). The filters are similar to those found on the Projects screen, with adaptations to focus on the user's tasks.
You can filter tasks by:
Tags;
Start and due dates;
By project/portfolio;
-
Status:
Completed tasks;
Incomplete tasks (Not started and In progress).

Tasks
Below the top bar is a list of tasks for which the user is responsible. Tasks are grouped by project, displaying summary data from the task card.
For each item, you can identify:
Responsible parties for the task;
Linked Project and Portfolio;
Applied Tags;
Checklist and partial completion indicator;
Deadline for conclusion.
Actions
The available actions allow you to interact with the task directly from the list, offering quick editing and navigation to the source project.
Main actions:
Edit task: clicking on the task bar opens a modal where you can change the title, description, assignees, labels, and other fields—the same flow available on the project page.
Access project: when you click on the name of the project linked to the task, you are redirected to the project page, facilitating context and broader actions.
Change status: by checking the box next to the task name, its status switches between completed and not completed, updating the task status immediately.
Track checklist and deadline: the checklist indicator shows partial progress and the deadline indicates the completion date, supporting the prioritization of pending tasks.
Requirements
Access to the Initiative Center with appropriate permission.
Be assigned as responsible for the task so that it appears on the My Tasks screen.
Best practices
Use tags to categorize and facilitate filters.
Keep the deadline up to date and use the checklist indicator to track subtasks.
When completing activities, check the checkbox to immediately update the status and remove the pending item from your list of open tasks.
When editing a task, review responsibilities and tags to ensure that the responsibility is correct.
Common mistakes
Expecting archived tasks to appear on the screen — this does not happen.
Searching for a responsible party filter on this screen — it does not exist, as the screen only shows tasks for the logged-in user.
Conclusion
The My Tasks screen centralizes all tasks for which the user is responsible, allowing filtering by tags, dates, project/portfolio, and status. Tasks are grouped by project and allow for quick actions: edit via modal, access the project, change status with the checkbox, and track checklist and deadline. Remember: archived tasks do not appear on this screen and there is no responsible party filter. Use tags and deadlines to prioritize and keep task information up to date for effective tracking.
