Generative AI in the evaluation on the All Ideas page & applied improvements
Once the AI feature is enabled, Approvers, Superusers, and Idea Administrators have access to the AI component on the All Ideas page. To activate it, click the AI icon located in the upper right corner of the screen.
But before we delve into the use of Generative AI in idea evaluation, I invite you to learn about the improvements I will present from now on. On the All Ideas page, when you open an idea and return to the list, it will be highlighted in a different color, indicating that it has already been viewed.
Additionally, on the right side of the page, we have the Actions Menu (represented by three dots), where you can access options such as sharing or deleting an idea. The Pendencies column is also available, providing additional information about the ideas, including feedback or adjustments.
Another new feature is the way Campaign Names and Idea Titles are displayed. When the name is too long, it will appear with three dots at the end. When hovering over it, you will see a tooltip showing the full text of the Campaign name or, if applicable, the Idea title.
We are aware of the improvements made to the All Ideas page. Shall we explore together how Generative AI can assist us in evaluating these ideas? By activating AI on the All Ideas page by clicking the AI icon, you will see that this action adds two new columns: Similar, which displays similar ideas, and Adherence, where the AI assesses the idea's compatibility with the Campaign. Only ideas Under Evaluation and Approved display the percentage (score) in the compatibility column. Get to know the two columns we mentioned:
Note: If you are unable to view the Similar and Adherence columns, it may be due to the size of your screen. To view them, use the horizontal scroll bar if there is a large amount of content. |
With the presentation of the two columns above, let’s better understand what each of them offers in terms of functionality. Follow the topics below:
-
In the Similar column: You will find illustrations of light bulb icons accompanied by numbers on the left side. By clicking on any of them, a modal will appear showing similar existing ideas that are related to the idea currently being evaluated.
In the Adherence column: you will find information that explains the concept of Adherence. To access this information, simply click the information icon ("i") next to Adherence. Just below, in the column, you will see Scores represented by circles containing percentages, indicating the ideas’ score. When hovering over the percentage in the Adherence column, a summary will be displayed showing what the AI analyzed regarding the idea’s adherence to the Campaign.
Note: If you are not an Evaluator in the current phase of the idea or do not have the required permissions, you will not be able to view the ideas’ Score.

How to use generative AI in the evaluation of an idea?
When accessing an idea for evaluation, the AI will be open by default, meaning it will be visible on the screen. If you prefer to hide this interface, simply click the side arrow to collapse it. In the Adherence calculation, the AI uses the criteria defined by the Campaign itself as a reference. While evaluating an idea, you will notice that the current step will be highlighted, even if it has not yet been selected. On the right side, in the Insights icon, there is an information symbol ("i"). By clicking it, you will be redirected to our knowledge base, where you will find details on how the AI works in Idea Evaluation specifically, this article.
Right after the information icon ("i"), there is a circle with a percentage that represents the idea’s Score, showing how well it is aligned with the Campaign according to the AI analysis. Below this score, you will also see a justification explaining why the idea received that specific percentage.
Additionally, the AI will identify similar ideas, initially displaying two of them. If you want to view more, simply click Show all to expand the list.
Another interesting feature is the display of results related to the Organizations in the Startup Database. The AI searches for organizations that have Ideas + Startups. The AI will present up to two similar startups at a time, and just like with ideas, you can click Show all to access additional options.
Note: The compatibility score can only be viewed by users with Approver, Superuser, or Idea Administrator permissions.
Idea track records tab
In the idea evaluation flow, you will find the History tab, which records all actions taken on the idea. When the idea is approved, the history also logs its Compatibility with the Campaign . It is worth noting that the compatibility view is only available to users with Approver, Superuser, and Idea Administrator permissions.
